Star Wars Celebration was filled with tons of amazing reveals, but there were a few announcements about the future of Star Wars movies, tv, and games that stood out above the rest.

   • Initial footage shows grand sets and amazing effects

   • Single shot fight scene inside AT-AT walker featured in panel

   • Extended trailer showed first look at Rotta the Hutt and Sigourney Weaver’s Rebel pilot

3. Maul: Shadow Lord is the next animated Star Wars series

   • Sam Witwer returning to star as Maul in 2026

   • Takes place between The Clone Wars and Rebels as Maul builds his underworld empire

   • Releases in Fall 2025 on Disney+ & Disney Jr.

   • Trials of the Jedi releases on June 17th

   • Fallen Order will be created by Mangado and Sideranch

   • Thrawn by Man Tsang will adapt Timothy Zahn’s first Canon Thrawn novel

   • Additional Manga will be releasing including a rerelease of A New Hope

7. Star Wars Outlaws: A Pirate’s Fortune is coming May 15th

   • DLC trailer introduces players to Hondo Ohnaka who will team up with Kay Vess and Nix

   • Story takes place after the conclusion of the base game

   • DLC included in deluxe edition and $14.99 separately

8. Ahsoka Season 2 brings back Anakin, Hera, Chopper, and Zeb

   • Ahsoka Season 2 set to begin filming this week

   • Hayden Christensen set to return as Anakin Skywalker

   • Creator Dave Filoni has promised much more screen time for Hera Syndulla and Chopper with Rosario Dawson (Ahsoka Tano) teasing much more action

   • Admiral Ackbar will be featured as a foil to Grand Admiral Thrawn

9. LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy is getting a sequel

   • Pieces of the Past will be a 4-part sequel series to the original Rebuild the Galaxy

   • Ashley Eckstein will be voicing Ahsoka Tano in Brickhead form

   • The series will also feature Jaxxon the Lepi, a Legends favorite

10. Star Wars Zero Company full trailer showcases a new squad

    • Game will be set against the backdrop of the Clone Wars and released in 2026

    • Hawks will be the main character and be completely customizable

    • Additional squad members include Trick, a clone soldier, Luco Branc, an Umbaran sharpshooter, Cly Kullervo, a Mandalorian gunslinger, Tel, a Tognath dual-weilding Jedi Padawan, and M3-VO, a droid pilot.

11. 3 of the Best Star Wars: Visions episodes are returning with sequels

    • Star Wars: Visions Season 3 arrives on October 29th on Disney+

    • Sequels for The Duel, The Village Bride, and The Ninth Jedi will be featured

    • Six new stories will fill out the rest of the season

12. The Ninth Jedi Spin-Off announced

    • In addition to a short sequel, The Ninth Jedi will receive its own spin-off

    • This long-form series will release in 2026

    • The story will take place after the sequel episode in Season 3

13. Star Wars Celebration 2027 will celebrate 50 years of storytelling in Los Angeles

    • Star Wars Celebration will take a year off before returning in 2027

    • The event will take place at the the Los Angeles Convention Center from April 1st - April 4th

    • This Celebration will mark the 50th anniversary of Star Wars and occur one month before the release of Star Wars: Starfighter
