Dave Filoni, Jon Favreau, Rosario Dawson, and Hayden Christensen appeared on stage at Celebration for a look back on Ahsoka Season 1 and to give a few teases about what’s coming in Season 2.

Dave Filoni said it was a challenge to even consider continuing without Ray Stevenson but spoke to Stevenson’s family and got their blessing to move forward with the character being recast.
Though no footage has been shot yet, Dave harkened back to the original Empire Strikes Back trailer, showing a retro-style preview to attendees featuring concept art for the upcoming season.
Characters Sabine Wren, Hera Syndulla, Ezra Bridger, Huyang, and Chopper were also announced to be returning, with Shin Hati presumed to be returning after she was shown in concept art during the preview.
