Star Wars Celebration started off with a bang with panels featuring The Mandalorian and Grogu, a look at the future of animation, Star War Outlaws, and more.

The films:

Lucasfilm
The Mandalorian and Grogu panel began with the reveal of Star Wars: Starfighter, an upcoming film starring Ryan Gosling and directed by Shawn Levy who both appeared onstage
Starfighter is set five years after The Rise of Skywalker and will come to theaters on May 28th, 2027
The film is officially in pre-production with filming set to begin Fall 2025
Footage of The Mandalorian and Grogu was shown to the Celebration crowd including an extended fight scene in an AT-AT and a full trailer
Sigourney Weaver’s rebel pilot featured heavily in the footage alongside Zeb Orrelios from Star Wars Rebels and our first glimpse of Jeremy Allen White’s Rotta the Hutt
Weaver and Pedro Pascal joined Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni onstage to talk about making the film which is set to release in May 2026

The shows:
Lucasfilm Animation revealed that the next animated series will be Maul: Shadow Lord featuring the return of Sam Witwer as the titular character
The series will focus on the rise of Maul in the Star Wars underworld between The Clone Wars and Rebels
A sizzle reel was shown exclusively to attendees and a release date of 2026 was confirmed
Panel attendees also viewed the first episode of Tales of the Underworld featuring Asajj Ventress
Young Jedi Adventures will be receiving a Season 3 - announced by Nubs himself on the LIVE stage

Random House Worlds
The Lucasfilm Publishing panel expanded on the previously announced reveals including some additional thoughts by author Adam Christopher about Master of Evil
The full cover of Trials of the Jedi was revealed with the final members of the “Luminous 9” who will come together to defeat Marchion Ro
Azlin Rell, Reath Silas, Terec, Torban Buck "Buckets of Blood", Elzar Mann, Avar Kriss, Burryaga, Bell Zettifar, Ty Yorrick, and Ember!
The Art of Star Wars: Andor was announced which will feature concept art from both seasons of the series
Author Chris Kempshall (The Rise and Fall of the Galactic Empire) teased that he’s working on a new project - supposedly with Wedge Antilles as he said “Red 2, standing by”

Jedi: Fallen Order will be receiving a manga adaptation by Mangado and Sideranch
Timothy Zahn’s Thrawn novel will also receive a manga retelling by Man Tsang
The games:

Ubisoft
Star Wars Outlaws revealed a trailer for the upcoming DLC A Pirate’s Fortune featuring Hondo Ohnaka
The DLC releases on May 15th for $14.99 or free with the deluxe editions of the game
A free demo of Outlaws is also available now for those who want to try out the beginning areas of the game

Hasbro
Hasbro announced the Jedi: Survivor is coming to the Black Series with Merrin finally receiving a figure as well as a multipack featuring Cal Kestis, Turgle, Skoova Stev, and BD-1
Legends fans also received some love with the reveal that Dash Rendar will be joining the line
