‘Skeleton Crew’ Review Roundup: Episodes 1 & 2

Skeleton Crew’s first two episodes were met with resounding praise - making it one of the best reviewed Star Wars television projects so far!

By the numbers: Skeleton Crew premiered with a 95% Critics Score on Rotten Tomatoes - 2nd only to Andor when it comes to Star Wars television

What they’re saying:

• Inverse praised the pacing of the show especially considering that has been an issue for recent Disney+ entries for the franchise
• Empire enjoyed the “fun, peppy, wish-fulfilment space-adventure” provided by the show - a welcome change after the intensity of projects like Ahsoka and The Acolyte
• The chemistry between the four leads has been noted for how impressive it is for such young actors, and their talent combined with the adventurous nature of the show is providing Star Wars “the young, fresh energy the galaxy desperately needed”
