Key highlights:
The writers discussed how the story adjusted over the years including a bigger role for Lourna Dee and moving up the sacrifice of Stellan Gios to Phase I from Phase III
Favorite characters were mentioned including George Mann’s affinity for the “geeky librarian guy” Reath Silas, Cavan Scott’s respect for Elzar Mann’s ability to evolve and ask for help, and of course…Geode
While Marchion Ro was always meant to be the main antagonist, multiple curve balls were planned with Scott even trying to make “Drengir” into an anagram for red herring

The community:
Fan appreciation was consistently addressed by the authors with Justina Ireland admitting that Imri Cantaros even “made it to the end because somebody came up and told me how much they loved him at Celebration Anaheim.”
Meetups at Celebration Europe, New York Comic-Con, and more were highlighted as wonderful memories for the writers – further solidifying the importance of the fan community in the success of The High Republic
Looking ahead: While Trials of the Jedi will end Phase III of The High Republic, Michael Siglain offered hope for the future, saying “It's the end of this particular story, but it's definitely not the end of the era. And we absolutely have plans for other stories. I wouldn't say it's Phase IV, but you could say it's sort of Phase More.”
The High Republic: Trials of the Jedi releases on June 17th
