‘Star Wars: Starfighter’ Finds a Villain in Matt Smith
Doctor Who star Matt Smith has been hired to play one of the main villains in Star Wars: Starfighter alongside Ryan Gosling.

What we know:
According to Deadline, Matt Smith (Doctor Who, House of the Dragon) has been cast as one of the main villains in Star Wars: Starfighter
Smith was previously reported to join The Rise of Skywalker back in 2018, but the role was supposedly cut before production
Smith joins Ryan Gosling and Mia Goth aboard the train of Starfighter with the latter rumored to play a separate villain role
More details will follow as they are revealed with Starfighter set to hit theaters on May 28th, 2027
