Publisher summary:
The situation on board Axil Research Station is dire! Water floods the base as the Jedi try desperately to stop the structure from sinking into the monster-infested depths. Amidst the rescue efforts, Kit Fisto increasingly suspects that this disaster is no accident, and that the perpetrators may still be on board the station…

Dark Horse Comics
Why it matters: Jedi Master Kit Fisto reminds us that comics should be adventurous and fun. There’s nothing better than watching a wise-cracking Jedi take care of business.
Key moments:
The Smiling Jedi: Kit Fisto’s meme-worthy smile in Attack of the Clones has become the backbone of his character. His upbeat attitude and jokes under pressure are a riot.
Saturday Morning Fun: The story, pacing, and humor are right out of a classic kid’s cartoon. George Mann nails the feeling of goofy, off-beat adventure that woke us up early every weekend.
Monsters Unleashed: While the conspiracy to destroy Axil Station heats up in this issue, the high point is a fight between Padawan Nahdar Vebb and a colossal beast 100 times his size.

Dark Horse Comics
The big picture: Have you ever wondered what would happen if you crossed Star Wars with Scooby Doo? Well George Mann has figured it out. From quips and fast-paced action right down to a bad guy being unmasked, Tides of Terror has all the trappings of a vintage cartoon. While the big villain reveal doesn’t make a big impact, that’s hardly the focus of the comic. Instead, readers will be addicted to the big action and hilarious character interactions. This genuinely may be the perfect all-ages read for any Star Wars fan.
Our rating: Incredible
