Dark Horse Comics
Why it matters: Ever since his debut as the cool, smiling jedi in Attack of the Clones, Kit Fisto has been a fan favorite. In his first ever comic as a lead character, he displays the perfect ideals of a Jedi Master and ambassador.
Key moments:
Peaceful protectors: Qui-Gon Jinn showed us that Jedi should remain cool under pressure. Kit Fisto takes that philosophy to new heights, not only calmly handling an intense situation but doing so with a smile on his face.
There’s always a bigger fish: This underwater adventure is a perfect setting for adventure. Action scenes are highlighted by pitting the Jedi against a series of massive sea monsters, beautifully designed by Luis Morocho.
Secret plots: Unsurprisingly, the disaster facing Kit Fisto is intentional, courtesy of a masked saboteur. While the action is the highlight, the mystery keeps the story moving forward.

Dark Horse Comics
The big picture: These Hyperspace Stories from Dark Horse have become the perfect access point for Star Wars adventure. Tides of Terror feels like a story straight out of The Clone Wars, nailing the tone of that anthology series. Not every Star Wars story needs to be galaxy-changing. Sometimes it’s nice to just pick a few of your favorite characters and see them go on a fun Jedi adventure. Once again, George Mann nails the assignment, adding to a growing catalog of killer stories for fans of all ages.
Our rating: Incredible
