ulian Gerighty of Massive Entertainment admits that he’s ‘a little disappointed’ with the Metacritic score for Outlaws but says the team has a wonderful ‘sense of accomplishment’ and a bright future for the game.

‍Why it matters: Star Wars Outlaws released to a Metacritic score of 76, which is encouraging for Massive’s first open-world game, but Gerighty acknowledges there is room for improvement.

‍The Big Picture: 

  • Future patches may address player concerns regarding the difficulty of stealth missions and other quality-of-life upgrades.
  • The first expansion, Wild Card, will will focus on Lando Calrissian and be released in Fall 2024.
