he official Star Wars Books Twitter account was buzzing on Tuesday morning, as the social media team graced us with an incredibly comprehensive first look at the upcoming From a Certain Point of View: Return of the Jedi anthology.

With the book’s August 29th release date less than a month away, we now have previews of all 40 of the chapters of the book. For Star Wars fans that are familiar with the FACPOV series thus far, it will come as no surprise that every chapter is authored by a different writer — some of them familiar favorites like Kristin Baver and Jason Fry, some of them newcomers to the universe. Likewise, each chapter provides a different side character’s point of view of a scene from Return of the Jedi.

The art in this entry promises to be extraordinary with the return of Chris Trevas, who is coming back to FACPOV to reprise his role as the featured artist.

It seems that we can expect the same charm and fresh insight from this entry that we’ve become accustomed to in the well-regarded FACPOV series. The Twitter posts continue with previews of stories from the perspectives of very intriguing characters, including a few that personally, I cannot wait to spend my lunch breaks reading.

Bibb Fortuna’s story sheds some light on a secret plot to assassinate his master, Jabba the Hutt, when he least expects it!

Charlie Jane Anders gives us insight into the thoughts and feelings of a very formidable, and very confused, character in the Star Wars saga, the Sarlacc themself!

Amal El-Mohtar is ready to give us all a glimpse into the cool and cunning mind of Moff Jerjerrod as he performs an act as risky as jumping into an aforementioned Sarlacc: lying to the Dark Lord himself.

The rest of the chapter previews can be seen all in one place here.

The Youtini team cannot wait to see what each of these stories has in store for us on August 29th. Learn more and preorder your copy here!
