Charles Soule's Star Wars Comics Trilogy Fully Announced

Charles Soule shocked the Star Wars fandom when he brought back Qi’ra in War of the Bounty Hunters #1 in June. There has been almost no Qi’ra content since the release of Solo: A Star Wars Story. She ended up being the star at the center of the War of the Bounty Hunters event. Soule went on to announce he would develop her further in a comic trilogy back in September. This was to start with Crimson Reign, which is a 5-issue miniseries that begins in December. The last part of his trilogy was unknown, until now.

At the end of today’s issue of War of the Bounty Hunters #5, Soule announced the final chapter of his trilogy would be called The Hidden Empire. Little is known at this time, but it will come after Crimson Reign in 2022. It is said to finish out this “epic trilogy that will span the Star Wars galaxy”. This collection of stories will continue to flesh out the story between Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, and how Qi’ra and the Crimson Dawn play a critical role in the galaxy.
