  • Originally titled The Ewok Adventure, Caravan of Courage was aired on ABC for the first time on November 25th, 1984
  • After receiving the second-highest ratings for any ABC movie that year, the film was aired on the Disney Channel before receiving a limited international theatrical release
  • The success of the film led to a sequel, The Battle for Endor, being filmed and released the following year
