ccording to a recently released variant cover image, Aftermath antagonist Gallius Rax has made his comics debut in The Battle of Jakku series.

What’s new:

  • The Battle of Jakku: Insurgency Rising #2 introduced a shadowy figure many fans assumed could be the fabled Imperial officer
  • Gallius Rax was revealed in his full glory thanks to a preview of Ramon Rosanas’s variant cover The Battle of Jakku: Republic Under Siege #4

The backstory:

  • Gallius Rax played a key role in Chuck Wendig’s Aftermath trilogy which ended in 2017
  • His storyline often interspersed with that of Grand Admiral Sloane who also made her return in Insurgency Rising #2

Looking ahead: The Battle of Jakku storyline continues with Insurgency Rising #3 on October 30th.
