The third set for the Star Wars: Unlimited card game is finally here, and it could be the greatest expansion the series has seen thus far!
The backstory:
Star Wars: Unlimited is a trading card game produced by Fantasy Flight similar in playstyle to classic TCGs like Magic: The Gathering and the recently release Disney Lorcana
The first set, Spark of the Rebellion, was released in March of 2024 and immediately took the Star Wars community by storm
Unlimited quickly became the best-selling game in the publisher’s history with the price of cards and packs rocketing soon after each release
What’s new:
Twilight of the Republic features two new decks, one led by Ahsoka Tano and the other led by General Grievous
The new set adds over 250 new cards, introduces token units, and focuses on “massed combat”
The main release of the new set is the Star Wars: Unlimited - Twilight of the Republic Two-Player Starter Set which features both new decks and everything new players need to get started
Coming next:
2025 will bring 3 additional sets to Star Wars: Unlimited with Jump to Lightspeed, Legends of the Force, and Secrets of Power
Fantasy Flight Games reportedly has the first nine sets planned through 2027
