Looking deeper:
StarWars.com published a full interview with author Madeleine Roux to get even more info about her upcoming work on Star Wars: Legacy
Roux discussed her lifelong love of Princess Leia and mentioned that she read Carrie Fisher’s books as part of her research for Legacy to properly capture Leia’s iconic voice
Legacy will also document the growth of Leia and Rey’s relationship as they start the journey quite far apart after Rey’s climactic stand-off with Leia’s own son at the conclusion of The Last Jedi.
Finally, Roux revealed that Leia and Rey’s journey will take them to Tython, the planet most recently seen in The Mandalorian. The story required a planet rich in Jedi history, and Tython became the clear choice thanks to Roux’s love of The Old Republic.
