Rey’s ‘New Jedi Order’ Film Finds a New Writer!

The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that screenwriter George Nolfi has joined the upcoming Star Wars film starring Rey Skywalker!

• George Nolfi has been hired to write the new Rey Skywalker film which is tentatively titled New Jedi Order

• Nolfi is known for his work on The Bourne Ultimatum and Ocean’s 12

Looking back:

• Previously, the project was being written by Damon Lindelof & Justin Britt-Gibson before being handed off to Steven Knight

• Knight left the film in October of 2024, and the movie was removed from the official Lucasfilm release schedule shortly thereafter
