Writer: Alex Segura
Artist: Phil Noto
Publisher summary:
New Republic on the brink of war! LUKE, HAN and VALANCE face off against a swarm of Clone War-era threats! PRINCESS LEIA plays the only card she has left against the mounting threat! RYNN ZENAT discovers a clue that sheds light on the struggles of the mysterious NAGAI!

Marvel Comics
Why it matters: The Fenril Consortium threatens to drag the New Republic into chaos. The heroes of the Galactic Civil War need to chart a path through the conflict in order for their newfound government to survive.
Key moments:
Sgt Kreel at Home: Luke sports a clone trooper armor set, along with a blaster and his green lightsaber. It feels a bit like a throwback to the Jason Aaron era of Star Wars comics.
Hope for Tomorrow: Leia and Mon struggle to handle the threat of the Fenril Fleet, but not all hope is lost. Leia has been working behind the scenes, and hints at a plan of attack already in motion.
Nagai Uprising: After the battle dies down, Marntiv tells the heroes of the Nagai resistance on Kaltrais, ready to push back against Reyna Oskure and the Zantarrk gang.

Marvel Comics
The big picture: Star Wars #6 continues down a similar path we’ve been seeing in the run thus far. If you like Segura’s run, this will be right up your alley. However, if it has not been appealing, I don’t see this issue changing too much either. Although, it did buck my expectations a bit. I was ready for the issue to be 90% fighting battle droids, but that really was not the case. I think this issue really made the greater picture of all the factions and relationships more clear. Personally, I think I am starting to understand the plot Segura is crafting significantly more at this point. I think there is a decent chance things start to turn a corner in the next issue or two, but that remains to be seen.
Our rating: Good
