Ahead of tonight’s 3-episode premiere, Andor’s second season has received the best reviews in the history of the Star Wars franchise.

Rotten Tomatoes has given Andor Season 2 a 98%, beating the previous record of 96% held by Andor Season 1
Metacritic’s score is currently at 94 - the highest of any Star Wars movie or television show to date
In addition to high scores, critics have widely hailed the show as the best Star Wars series of all time as well as one of the best television shows of the decade

While the story of Cassian Andor will end after the season finale, Diego Luna has expressed interest in returning to expand the relationship between Cassian & Bix in the year between seasons
Creator Tony Gilroy has also revealed that some episodes have been cut into a theatrical format…opening the door for possible theater screenings next year for Rogue One’s 10th anniversary
