Fans of Chuck Wendig’s Aftermath Trilogy know that Wedge Antilles had quite a few adventures after partying it up at the end of Return of the Jedi, but the old pilot has been conspicuously absent in the Sequel Trilogy era.

In the latest excerpt for Rebecca Roanhorse’s Resistance Reborn over at StarWars.com, Wedge Antilles is front and center with his wife, Norra Wexley, at their home on Akivva. Wedge seems to have adjusted quite nicely to the quiet, farming life, but an unexpected visit from Snap Wexley and Karé Kun may be the call to action that the Rebellion hero has been waiting for.
