he final day of Star Wars Celebration always brings with it some new news, and Day 4 of Star Wars Celebration Europe 2023 was no different! Kicking off in the morning on April 10, 2023 at the ExCeL Centre in London, panels that were sure to be of interest included a panel on The Bad Batch, Visions Volume 2, Marvel Comics, and, as always, the Closing Ceremony.
The Bad Batch
The Bad Batch's panel featured executive producers Brad Rau, Jennifer Corbett, and ASthena Portillo, as well as voice actors Dee Bradley Baker and Michelle Ang. The big announcement from this panel was that the show is concluding with its upcoming third season, which will come out in 2024. The audience saw an exclusive trailer, which showed Palpatine on Mount Tantiss, Dr. Hemlock, Omega interacting with Crosshair, Rex, and returning character from the first season, Fennec Shand. You can read the full description of the trailer here. We will miss the Batch, but can't wait to see what the final season has in store for us!
Marvel Comics Presents: Star Wars
The Marvel Comics panel had a lot in store for fans! There were plenty of cover reveals and interior art shown, but best of all was a new crossover announcement!
Dark Droids by Charles Soule will cross over between all four currently running series: Star Wars (2020), Darth Vader (2020), Doctor Aphra (2020), and Bounty Hunters (2020). At the panel, Soule pitched it like this: “Think about your cell phone & all the things you use it for. Now think about your phone thinking about you and all the things you ask it to do. And your phone hates you for it, and it’s talking to all the other phones about how it wants to eat you!”

Visions Volume 2
Star Wars: Visions Volume 2 had a panel full of announcements! The audience got a trailer (which was also released on YouTube!) to preface the information they'd end up receiving from the creators. The title and voice cast for each short from every studio was revealed. This information is compiled on Star Wars' website and can be viewed here. Visions Volume 2 will be released on Disney+ on May 4, 2023.
This show looks incredibly gorgeous and is so artfully done that we recommend watching the trailer for yourself to get the full experience! You can do so here.
Closing Ceremony
Details for the next Star Wars Celebration were announced at the Closing Ceremony. The next Celebration will take place in Japan between April 18 and 20, 2025. It will take place in Chiba, Japan at Makuhari Messe convention center.
