Entertainment Weekly revealed new images of Skeleton Crew featuring Jaleel White, Jude Law, & more!
What’s New:
We got a first look at Jaleel White (Family Matters) as Gunter, a cyborg-esque pirate.
Other pirates were shown including Vane from The Mandalorian as well as new additions Brutus, Pax, and Chaelt.
Creator Christopher Ford confirmed “The Empire is gone, and so we're playing with a part of the galaxy that has a resurgence of piracy.”
Unlikely Inspiration: Creator Jon Watts credits Monkey Island, the 1990 LucasArts video game, as an inspiration for the new pirate gang!
A Closer Look:
Watts credits Dave Filoni as their figurative ‘goalkeeper’ who keeps them in line regarding rules of the universe.
A new look at Jod Na Nawood was also revealed, showing ‘a whole new kind of Jedi’ that Jude Law will bring to the series.
Looking Ahead: Skeleton Crew premieres on Disney+ on Tuesday, December 3rd.
