Though you might recognize the name Zare Leonis from Star Wars Rebels, there’s a lot the show never told you about his character. Thanks to the first book in the Servants of the Empire series, Leonis’s story comes to life on the page as he wrestles with deciding whether or not to attend the Imperial Academy on Lothal like his older sister.
Written by Jason Fry, this series does what the Star Wars Expanded Universe does best -- takes a minor character from a beloved on-screen property and establishes him as a main character in a book.
