tarWars.com has released their annual Holiday Gift Guide article including the first excerpt from the upcoming audio drama The High Republic: Tempest Breaker!
What we hear:
- The excerpt shares the first 13 minutes of the project titled Part 1 - Tempest No More
- Rhil Dairo, a High Republic reporter, sets up the frame story where she will be conducting an interview with Lourna Dee
- Their conversation addresses events from The Rising Storm, Lourna’s desire to be feared and respected, and teases her relationship with Marchion Ro
- Flashback sequences are used to highlight moments of intense action alongside her old crew

- Tempest Breaker will be a sequel to 2021’s Tempest Runner which was also written by Cavan Scott
- Concept art for the project was released at New York Comic Con which showed Lourna Dee and Marchion Ro entwined in a dangerous dance
