Qui-Gon is troubled by a vision of his close companion, Tahl, in great distress. He discovers that Tahl has been working on a difficult mission on the planet of New Apsolon, which he and Tahl had helped stabilize several years earlier. The royal sisters, Alani and Eritha, are in danger, but the adversaries lurk in the shadows. Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan must expose the threat, retread the past, and forge new bonds in order to save the planet and rescue Tahl.
