It began with Corey, our founder, who was determined to make this vast literary landscape more accessible to fans of all kinds. Initially a book box subscription service, Youtini has since evolved into the comprehensive resource for Star Wars literature that we know today.
Youtini started as a place for many of us seeking to delve deeper into Star Wars but unsure where to begin. Today, more than 40 contributors fuel this project, united not just by our love for Star Wars but by the community we’ve found among those who share this passion. This sense of community is where the next phase of Youtini’s journey begins.

Throughout our journey, we’ve experienced the negative and often toxic dynamics within fandom communities (some of which have been around for decades). While passion often runs deep in certain corners of the internet, so does negativity. At Youtini, we genuinely love the transformative power of community — a place where the joy and enthusiasm for fandom can thrive.
This isn't to say that we shy away from critique; after all, toxic positivity is also a very real concern of ours. Our goal, instead, is to elevate our fandom by creating an inclusive space for people who are genuinely passionate about their favorite stories and eager to connect with others who share their enthusiasm.
