man Esfandi shares insights about his Ezra casting process for ‘AHSOKA’ in a new interview with Katee Sackhoff!

The backstory:

  • Eman Esfandi had never seen ‘THE CLONE WARS’ or ‘REBELS’ before hearing about Ezra
  • He began researching role after seeing an art rendering from Pandora Young Art showing an older Ezra in the style of “Space Aladdin”

The process:

  • Esfandi never auditioned in person for Dave Filoni
  • He was offered the role of Ezra after a single self-tape audition

What’s next: While Esfandi has not yet been confirmed, Season 2 of ‘AHSOKA’ is currently in development.
