olumbia has revealed a new NASCAR collaboration with Lucasfilm SVP and and Executive Design Director Doug Chiang including a paint scheme, racing helmet, and fire suit surrounding Darth Vader.

What’s new:

  • The collaboration was designed for driver Bubba Wallace following last year’s Rebel Pilot themed car wrap
  • Chiang and the design team spent several months transferring Vader’s iconic look onto the car
  • Additional details include Vader’s shoulder pauldron on Wallace’s suit as well as red lightsaber elements on the rims of the wheels

  • Darth Vader, himself, Hayden Christensen got to see the car in person at the Phoenix Raceway
  • Bubba Wallace will be driving the iconic car on November 10th at the NASCAR Cup Series Championship
  • Columbia will follow up the race by continuing their annual tradition of clothing collaborations with a new seasonal Darth Vader apparel collection on November 19th.
